About 2 years ago, I was getting into basketball a lot, I watched the Micheal Jordan documentary and watched loads of NBA. One thing really stood out to me, it was the dunking. I really wanted to dunk, but the slight issue I had was that I only had around a 22 inch vert and wasn't very athletic. So of course, I looked online for advice. The first video I saw was a video about a guy saying that plyo's will increase my bounce and I must do them. So of course, I did them. But none of them worked. I then looked at what the best jumpers did, I looked at Mac Mcclung and he said he did these spot jump plyometrics. I tried them, they didn't work. I looked at Ja Morant who did 400 tractor tire jumps daily if I can recall correctly. But again, it didn't work.It was only until I seriously researched for hours on end and became obsessed with the art of programming and elevating both the performance of me and my clients . And then one thing led to another and I got my first dunk, then my first windmill, and now I have a 39 inch vert and am more athletic than ever. I also managed to drop my 40yd dash from 5.15s to 4.6s in this time.
